| Employee performs in a training capacity for approximately one year learning the techniques of social casework in the area of Adult Protective Services. The primary function of the class is to apply the training received in the specialized techniques of protective service casework; however, the employee is expected to bring social casework knowledge and experience to the job. The nature of the situations requires judgment to deal with problems that are potentially dangerous to the client and the worker. Work requires the use of personal automobile for travel. May be subject to being on-call during non-business hours and must be available and have access to a telephone. How To Apply: APPLY ONLINE. This job requires a written examination (W). | IMPORTANT TEST EXEMPTION NOTE: Applicants with a Bachelor's (BSW) or Master's (MSW) in Social Work from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited social work program, or a current (non-temporary) WV Social Work License are not required to take the written examination. These applicants receive automatic preference in eligible referral. Applicants with Temporary License or a "Temporary License Eligibility Approval Stamp" must test.
