Welcome to the City of Whittier's job application process! You can now apply online by clicking on the job title you are interested in and clicking on the "Apply" link! If this is the first time you are applying using our online job application, you will need to create an account and select a Username and Password. After your account has been established, you can build an application by clicking on the "Build Job Application" link. This application can be saved and used to apply for more than one job opening.
Online applications are stored on a secure site. Only authorized employees and hiring authorities have access to the information submitted.
It is important that your application show all the relevant education and experience you possess. Please include work and volunteer history for the past 10 years and list and explain any gaps in employment. Your resume may be attached to your application, but a resume will NOT take the place of a fully completed on-line application. Incomplete applications will be rejected. PLEASE NOTE: Once you submit an online application, you will receive an automatic e-mail reply confirming receipt of your application. If you do not recieve this e-mail, it means we did NOT get your application. Please be aware that you may need to contact your Internet Service Provider to add the @governmentjobs.com email to the 'safe' list to ensure that our email communications are not blocked or placed in your SPAM file.
