Welcome to Waukesha County’s application process! You can now apply online by clicking on the job title you are interested in and then clicking on the "Apply" link! An email address is necessary to apply online. If this is the first time you are applying through the new system, you will need to create an account and select a Username and Password. After your account has been established, you can build an application by clicking on the "Build Job Application" link. This application can be saved and used to apply for more than one job opening.
If you do not have a current email address, you can sign up for free email at Yahoo! Mail. Please click here to create your account. It takes only a few minutes to register. All positions are posted for a minimum of one week. After that time, the hiring department can choose to remove the position from the posting and no longer accept applications. If the recruitment has a specific deadline, it will be indicated. When you apply for a vacancy, you will receive an email confirming that we have received your application. It is important that your application show all the relevant education and experience you possess. Applications may be rejected if incomplete. Some applications will also require a resume, however the application must be completed in its entirety to be accepted. You can submit a resume by copying and pasting the document. If you are interested in a position that we are currently not recruiting for, you may complete a job interest card by clicking on the Class Spec tab and indicate "Notify me when this position becomes available" link. Interest cards will be kept in our system for up to 11 months. If you are not contacted by that time, you will need to complete another interest card. Online applications are stored on a secure site. Only authorized employees and hiring authorities have access to the information submitted. Waukesha County is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
