Welcome to the County of Volusia's application process!

NOTE: If you submitted an application with us prior to December 2009 or are applying for a position for the first time, you will need to create an account and an application as the County application system has changed. See "First Time Applicants" section below for instructions on creating an application.

Thank you for your interest in employment with the County of Volusia. You can apply for a position by clicking below on the Position Title you are interested in and then by clicking on the Apply link!

Online applications are stored on a secure site. Only authorized Personnel staff and hiring authorities have access to the information submitted.

To check the status of your application, log in to your account and review the Application Status field on the main page. If the application was submitted successfully, your Application Status should read "Application Received." Note: If it does not read this, you may have filled out an application but did not certify and submit. To do so, click on the "Job Opportunities” link, select the Position Title you are interested in, click "Apply" and follow all the prompts to apply for the position.

Complete a Job Interest Card receive an email notification each time a position opens with County of Volusia whose category matches one of the categories you've chosen.

First Time Applicants

Before you are able to apply for a position, you will first need to create an account. After your account has been created, you can then create an application by clicking on the "Build Job Application" link. This application can be saved and used to apply for more than one job opening. It is important that your application show all the relevant education and experience you possess. Applications may be rejected if incomplete. The County does not accept hard copy (paper) applications.

An attached resume is not a substitute for the required information on the application. It is the responsibility of the applicants to keep their application current and updated.
