Additional information, including important employment process details are also outlined. The City of Visalia adheres to the City’s Employment of Relatives Policy #121. As such, the City of Visalia will not hire relatives of current employees to work in the same department.
It is important that your application show all the relevant education and work experience you possess. Work experience must be shown for the last 10 years. Experience beyond 10 years ago should be included, but only if it is directly related to the position for which you are applying. A resume may be attached, but is not a substitute for completing the application. Failure to submit a completed application may eliminate you from consideration for the position.
