Job Title: H1N1 IMMUNIZATIONS WEB CONTENT ADMINISTRATOR-Temporary

  • Develops and reviews the content of all H1N1 vaccination campaign generated web-based information for the Tarrant County Public Health website.
  • Assists with the coordination of web-based information on H1N1 vaccination/immunization alerts to the media, elected officials, public and private agencies and citizens.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Create, design and log H1N1 vaccination related alerts on the Tarrant County Public Health website.
  2. Review the content of all H1N1 generated web based information for the Tarrant County Public Health website.  
  3. Ensure that required periodic H1N1 postings are uploaded to the Tarrant County Public Health website in a timely and appropriate manner.
  4. Ensure that H1N1 posting meet state and county required policies, procedures and guidelines.     
  5. Assist with the development of routing H1N1 vaccination public information and special campaign engaging the community and target audiences.
  6. Develop, design and produce H1N1 vaccination print materials and publications.
  7. Maintain and update H1N1 vaccination files.
  8. Document and maintain required H1N1 vaccination records and statistics as it pertains to H1N1 vaccination campaign.
  9. Prepare and produce periodic web-based management or special reports on the H1N1 vaccination campaign.
  10. Communicate with appropriate staff or citizens in the performance of duties.

 Minimum Requirements:
To apply, must have a Associate's degree or higher + two (2) full-time years of work experience in web-based designing and maintenance
OR
To apply, must have four (4) full-time years combination of related education and experience in web-based designing and maintenance.

To apply, must have a valid Driver License.

NOTE:  YOU MUST FILL OUT THE WORK HISTORY and EDUCATION SECTIONS OF APPLICATION TO SHOW YOU HAVE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION AS REQUIRED BY HIRING DEPARTMENT OR BE DISQUALIFIED.

Must have highly developed computer technical skills areas of graphic design, web creation and maintenance or information technology.  

Being proficient with Microsoft Publisher is a plus.  

 Physical Demands and Work Environment & Other Requirements:

While performing the duties of this position, the incumbent is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, lift, push and pull.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Regular attendance is essential.   Incumbent must arrive at work on time, prepared to perform assigned duties and work assigned schedule. Incumbent must have the ability to work well with others. Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves and others. Requested accommodations to work hours and schedules are considered on an individual basis.
