Assists Water Safety Instructor in the instruction of all levels of aquatic classes for children and adults and attends instructional training sessions.
Typical Qualifications:
Minimum age requirement -15 years old. American Red Cross Level 4 Swimming Certification or Competitive swimming experience; ability to withstand exposure to direct sunlight, heat and humidity.
Supplemental Information:
Candidate selected will be required to successfully complete alcohol and controlled substance tests at the County’s expense, and if candidate is eighteen (18) years of age or older, will be required to also successfully complete a criminal history and fingerprint check test at the County’s expense. The following documents are required from re-hired or new employees prior to their start date: • Two forms of identification showing proof of U.S. Citizenship or a Permanent Resident Card or Alien Registration Receipt Card (Form I-551). List of acceptable identification will be given to applicant prior to hiring. • All employees are required to have direct deposit of their bi-weekly paychecks into a financial institution of their choice. Account information must be presented at time of hire. Account must have applicants name on it. If applicant selects a checking account for direct deposit, a check from that account with the word “VOID” written across the face of the check must be remitted. If applicant selects a savings or credit union account for direct deposit, a deposit slip with the imprinted applicants name, routing and account number on the deposit slip must be remitted.
