Welcome to the City of SeaTac's new application process! We recently launched a new applicant tracking system.

You can apply online by clicking on the job title you are interested in and clicking on the "Apply" link! If this is the first time you are applying using our new online job application, you will need to create an account and select a Username and Password. After your account has been established, you can build an application by clicking on the "Build Job Application" link. This application can be saved and used to apply for more than one job opening.

Although online application submittals are our preferred method, we still accept paper applications. If you wish to download an application and submit via mail or fax you may do so by visiting http://www.ci.seatac.wa.us/edocument/emppacket.pdf.

The City contracts with Bates Technical College for entry level Fire Fighting testing. For 2009, the application window was January 12 thru February 23. Applications are only available during this time at Bates Technical College South Campus fire Service Training Building, on the Bates Web Site and SeaTac City Hall. For information on Bates Technical College or how to become eligible for employment as a Fire Fighter with the City of SeaTac, you may contact Bates Technical College at 253.680.7460, visit http://www.bates.ctc.edu/FireFighter or contact Stephanie Johnson, Human Resources Analyst at 206.973.4654.

Police services for the City are contracted through King County. For information, contact King County recruiting at 206.296.4069 or by visiting their website http://www.kingcounty.gov/safety/sheriff/Careers

Online applications are stored on a secure site. Only authorized employees and hiring authorities have access to the information submitted.

It is important that your application show all the relevant education and experience you possess. Applications may be rejected if incomplete.
