Staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, the Sheriff's Communications Center provides the highest quality, professionally competent public safety services to over one million residents of San Diego County. Our state of the art facility located in the Kearny Mesa area of San Diego has fully adjustable ergonomic workstations, utilizing some of the most advanced radio and computer systems in public safety. Sheriff’s Emergency Services Dispatchers are responsible for handling the full range of radio and telephone emergency and non-emergency communications involving a variety of local governmental operations (law enforcement, fire, medical, etc.).
