The County of San Diego’s Edgemoor, a Distinct Part Skilled Nursing Facility, has recently unveiled its new state-of-the-art facility and is seeking to fill their vacant position of Supervising Occupational Therapy. Incumbent will be responsible for providing supervision to other therapist and staff and administering medically necessary occupational therapy services as prescribed by physicians to seriously ill or injured adult patients with chronic disorders.  To see a complete description of the job duties, please click here.

In order to qualify, you must have the following:

  1. A valid California license as an occupational or physical therapist or in the process of obtaining licensure in California; AND,
  2. Successful completion and graduation from an accredited school of occupational OR physical therapy; AND,
  3. Three (3) years of clinical experience working with physically disabled children as a certified or licensed occupational or physical therapist; OR, three (3) years of progressively responsible post-graduate experience in administering occupational or physical therapy to psychiatrically disordered and physically impaired patients.
Note: Supervisory experience is highly desirable.
