The Arrowhead Regional Medical Center is recruiting for Registered Nurses to work in an acute care setting.

Hiring Bonus: New Registered Nurses II are eligible to receive a five hundred dollar ($500) bonus upon hire. After completion of 2080 service hours of employment (approximately one year full- time) as a Registered Nurse II , employees shall receive an additional one thousand dollars ($1,000). Relocation Assistance is available. Mileage restrictions apply.

 Minimum Requirements:
License and certification: Must possess and maintain a current license as a Registered Nurse with the State of California Board of Registered Nursing, and Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
 
Depending upon area of assignment, additional certification may be required.

Experience: One year of experience as a registered nurse. Certifications in specialty areas are highly desirable.

Substitution: A Bachelor’s degree in nursing may be substituted for six months of the required experience.

Conditions of Employment

1) Requires working various shifts, week-ends and holidays. 2) Requires lifting of up to 100 pounds with assistance, and carrying of up to 50 pounds. 3) The work environment may involve exposure to assaultive and combative patients. 4) Applicants selected for these positions must pass a background investigation and verification of employment history and education.
