The Riverside County Regional Medical Center is looking for a Supervising Occupational Therapist to work in their Department of Psychiatry located in Riverside, CA. This position will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the work of an occupational therapy unit; performing occupational therapy work; and to do other work as required.  Examples Of Duties:
• Plans, organizes, and directs the work of professional and non-professional personnel assigned to occupational therapy units.

• Coordinates the activities of these units with other medical or health services provided by the Hospital or Health Department; orients, trains, and evaluates subordinate personnel.

• Plans and performs occupational therapy work under general instructions of the physician in charge of the patient; participates in staff conferences and recommends on procedures and policies.

• Prepares records, reports, and annual budgets; evaluates and/or re-evaluates programs within the unit.

• Interviews and hires new occupational therapists; communicates orally and in writing rules and regulations to the unit.

 Typical Qualifications:
Experience: Three years of experience as a licensed Occupational Therapist.
