All employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of both a pre-employment physical exam, including a drug/alcohol test, and a criminal background investigation, which involves fingerprinting. (A felony or misdemeanor conviction may disqualify the applicant from County employment).
COUNTY FURLOUGH: New employees hired anytime during the 2009-2010 Fiscal Year into classifications affected by Mandatory Furloughs will be required to participate in the furlough program. Supervisors should contact their Human Resources Services Team for guidance on prorating the furlough amount for new hires.
