| There is one FULL-TIME (40-HOUR) position available. Applicants must be available to work day, swing and night shifts 7 days a week, including weekends & holidays. For consideration, applicants should check those boxes on the application under availability. Applicants must be available for call out and scheduled overtime. Qualified candidates must be available to participate in physical agility testing. Performs duties in law enforcement, aviation security and public safety. Duties will include, but not be limited to the following: This classified position is FLSA non-exempt, which means it is eligible for overtime. |

Minimum Qualifications:
|
- Possession of current Category 1 Basic Peace Officer Standards & Training Certification.
- Three years of full-time experience with a law enforcement agency as a police officer.
- Be at least 21 years of age at the time of application.
- Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade of school.
A copy of the POST Certification must be submitted during the interview process |

Selection Procedure:
|
| Each application and supplemental questionaire will be evaluated to determine whether minimum qualifications have been met. Those meeting the minimum qualifications will be invited to participate in physical agility testing (pass/fail scoring). Candidates passing the physical agility test will be scheduled for a written exam on a date to be determined. There will also be one or more oral interviews/processes and a law enforcement background investigation. Applicants must pass each test/exam before continuing to the next step in the selection process. |

| Ability to sit, stand, walk, run, kneel, crouch, stoop, squat, crawl, twist, climb, and lift 100 lbs.; exposure to cold, heat, noise, outdoors, vibration, confining work space, chemicals, flammable materials, mechanical hazards, and electrical hazards; ability to travel to different sites and locations; availability for shift work, on-call, stand-by, and emergency response situations. |
