Welcome to the City of Poway's application process!  Poway, best known as "The City in the Country,"  is pleased to be included in your employment search.

You can apply online by clicking on the job title you are interested in and clicking on the "Apply" link. If this is the first time you are applying using our online job application, you will need to create an account and select a Username and Password. After your account has been established, you can build an application by clicking on the "Build Job Application" link. This application can be saved and used to apply for more than one job opening.

Online applications are stored on a secure site. Only authorized employees and hiring authorities have access to the information submitted.

It is important that your application materials show all of the relevant education and experience you possess. A resume may be attached, but is not accepted in lieu of  fully completed employment application materials including supplemental questionnaire, if required.  APPLICATIONS WILL BE REJECTED IF INCOMPLETE.

For positions requiring a typing certificate, the City of Poway requires a supervised test and on-line certificates are not accepted. The following local agencies are among those providing acceptable certification in addition to many temporary staffing businesses:
