Provide College community services in support of the Department of Public Safety by performing limited public service and crime prevention work including: -
Assist Police Officers with patrol and police procedures by patrolling College properties and reporting suspicious or unsafe circumstances -
Support investigations -
Assist with the enforcement of College traffic and parking regulations -
Prepare reports or issue parking citations -
Process lost and found property -
Lock and unlock College facilities -
Provide effective customer service to the College community, to include students, faculty, staff, and the public -
Perform entry-level administrative activities |

Medium Work: Exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Incumbents may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, vibrations, dust, chemicals, workspace restrictions, and intense noises. OTHER INFORMATION: These positions may work various shifts, often working alone, and may include weekends and holidays. Selected candidates will provide a roving patrol covering specific Pima Community College facilities across the College district. Candidates selected will be subject to an arrests and warrants check, a review of motor vehicle records, and will be fingerprinted in order to obtain a fingerprint clearance card.
