Veterans' Preference eligibility has changed. Effective July 1, 2007 Operation Enduring Freedom (Oct 7, 2001 - present) and Operation Iraqi Freedom (Mar 19, 2003 - present) veterans will be eligible for preference, in addition to other eligible categories.
