Veterans' Preference eligibility has changed. Effective July 1, 2007 Operation Enduring Freedom (Oct 7, 2001 - present) and Operation Iraqi Freedom (Mar 19, 2003 - present) veterans will be eligible for preference. See F.S. 1.01(14) for more information. Additionally, F.S. 295.101 has been repealed and eligibility in the State of Florida is now perpetual, and no longer a single entitlement.

Pay for new employees typically starts at the bottom of the posted range, however consideration may be given depending on qualifications. Please be sure to view the "benefits" tab on the job description to see all of the other benefits of pursuing a career with Pasco County.

If this is the first time you are applying using our online job application, you will need to create an account and select a Username and Password. If you have all of your information with you at the time you complete your application online, your application process will go faster. For example, dates and contact info for past employers, education, certifications, and references etc.
