To apply online, simply click the “Apply” link when viewing a specific job opportunity. If this is your first time applying for employment using Ontario’s Online Hiring Center, you will need to create an account by creating a Username and Password. After your account has been created, you can build your application by clicking on the "Build Job Application" link. Your application can then be saved and used to apply for other jobs with Ontario.

Your application is the primary tool used to evaluate your job qualifications. It is important that your application show all your relevant education and experience. Incomplete applications may be rejected. Resumes may be included with but will not substitute for a complete application. In addition, please ensure that you complete any supplemental questions that may be required for the job you are applying for. Be certain to click on SAVE as you create your application. If you do not click on SAVE prior to reviewing your application, the information will be lost.

Once you submit your application, a message will appear on the screen letting you know that your application has been received. Please print a copy of the confirmation, job bulletin, any attachments and application for your records.

Online applications are stored on a secure website. Only authorized City employees and agents have access to the information submitted. Information collected will not be sold, rented or provided to anyone for commercial or marketing purposes.
