Join the KEEPING KIDS SAFE volunteer or intern program.

You will have the opportunity to give back to the community and get academic credit if needed.

 Example of Duties:
What You Do

  • Provide professional supervised visitation services at one of two non-profit visitation centers located in Fullerton, Laguna Hills, and Santa Ana (21 years of age or older) , may include some administrative support
  • Serve the community by working to support legal processes and procedures performed by Family Court Services/Family Law
  • Work hands on with parents by conducting client intakes at Family Court, Lamoreaux Justice Center in the city of Orange (21 years of age or older)
  • Assist with community outreach

 Minimum Qualifications:
What You Need

  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Minimum age of 18 or older (age 21 years of age or older for supervised visitation services)
  • Training as a professional supervised visitation monitor will be provided (21 years of age or older)
  • Bilingual skills in Spanish and Vietnamese are a plus (optional)
  • Commit to two or more hours per week; days, evenings, or weekends

How To Participate

  • Submit a completed online application
  • Be at least 18 years of age (or at least 21 years of age for supervised visitation services)
  • Pass a local and national background check
  • Go through an interview with the program coordinator
