The Sales Lead Generation Specialist calls public sector organizations nationwide to promote NEOGOV software solutions and services through a high volume of outbound telephone calls to discuss their Human Resource and business initiatives with the ultimate goal of scheduling a product demonstration with the Enterprise Sales Representative for a designated account/territory.
Examples of Duties:
The Sales Lead Generation Specialist must identify who the most appropriate decision maker is within the organization (usually a Director, or C-Level) and can initiate a conversation with the decision maker to introduce our products & services and educate the decision maker on what value our system has to offer.
The Sales Lead Generation Specialist supports the efforts of the Enterprise Sales Team and the company by participating fully and contributing to the team-selling process and develops relationships with customers by utilizing excellent communication skills and a high degree of professionalism.
Typical Qualifications:
Required:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum of (1) year software sales/marketing lead generation experience IS REQUIRED to be considered for this position
Inside/Phone Sales is REQUIRED.
Experience in high volume cold call environment of100+ calls/day
Desired:
Experience in business development for Enterprise Software
Experience in business development for an Applicant Tracking System
Experience in HR, Recruiting or selling HR/Recruiting software
Experience selling or business development to the Government/Private Sector
