The Early Assessment and Support Alliance (EASA) program in an early intervention program for individuals aged 15 to 25 who have had a first experience of psychosis.  A team of mental health professionals works with these individuals, their families and friends to reduce the long-term disability associated with the illness to get people back on track with the original goals they had for their lives.  The EASA Program Supervisor is responsible for day-to-day operations of the program.  This includes the assignment of work, development of work procedures, management of staff caseloads, and clinical and staff supervision of the non-medical members of the EASA team.   Along with the Mental Health Organization Manager, the Program Supervisor also develops and monitors processes to assure the program’s compliance with the EASA Fidelity Model, including monitoring of staff to client ratios, case load sized, the accurate and timely submission of data, and the provision and coordination of community education and outreach activities.  As a full member of the team, the supervisor will also carry a small case load and participate in the facilitation of multi-family groups and other direct service activities as needed. 

 To Qualify:
 

Experience: Requires at least two years of recent experience in the following areas:

(1) Managing operations and supervising staff within a multi-disciplinary, team-based Assertive Community Treatment/Intensive Case Management-type model that works with SMI clients (2) Working directly with youth and young adults and their families who are experiencing their first psychotic episode (3) Performing clinical assessments/evaluations of persons with possible psychotic disorders and providing clinical supervision to mental health professionals    

Training:   Requires a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in mental health or a related field. Also requires LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) or other Licensed Mental Health Professional status.            

Other:  Oregon Revised Statutes 181.536 – 181.537 require applicants being considered for appointment to positions that provide care, treatment, education, training, instruction, supervision, placement services, recreation or support to children, the elderly or persons with mental or developmental disabilities to submit background information for the purpose of completing a criminal history record check. This position is subject to these statutes. Therefore, if you are a finalist for this position, you will be required to submit background information, which may include fingerprints.
