| Specialized professional level in the nursing occupation under general supervision of the Nurse Manager, requiring considerable knowledge of professional nursing practices as an Ohio Registered Nurse in order to supervise all LPNs and direct care staff and direct nursing operations on an entire shift at an MR/DD facility engaged in providing direct professional patient care. Performs the material and substantial duties of the classification more than 50% of the time. |

Minimum Class Requirements:
|
Current State of Ohio Registered Nurse license per OCR Chapter 4723. 2 yrs. of long-term care supervisory nursing experience in a RN position with concentration in pediatrics, geriatrics, developmental disabilities, or psychiatry.
- OR alternative, equivalent evidence of the Minimum Class Requirements may be substituted for experience required but not for mandated licensure.
