The City of Minnetonka has a full-time employment opportunity for an Electrical Inspector. This high volume, service oriented position is responsible for conducting field inspections, plan reviews, and conferring with contractors, homeowners, consultants, and staff.

Minimum Qualifications: Thorough knowledge of electrical installation fundamentals and procedures; Licensed Journeyman Electrician, the ability to conduct on-site inspections of electrical installations; excellent written & verbal communication skills; and a valid drivers license. Desired Qualifications: Licensed Master Electrician, National Certification, MN Certified Building Official Limited or MN Certified Building Official.

2009 salary range is $28.54 - $31.71, with excellent fringe benefits.
