| The City of Rochester is currently accepting applications for an IT Analyst in the Finance Department/ Information Systems Division. Responsibilities include working with City departments to design, build, implement and deploy applications via available development tools and utilizing SQL server, MS Access and/or vendor specific software/hardware. Work closely with users to determine needs and expectations, assessing application needs, designing complex application systems, preparing specifications and implementation schedules, managing the City website, implementing applications and providing maintenance support. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Associate of Arts degree or graduation from technical school with major course work in a technical field such as computer science, management information systems or a closely related field and 2 - 4 years design, development, and implementation experience including enterprise content management system experience, preferably utilizing C#, ASP.NET, MS Visual Studio, and Interwoven OpenDeploy/Teamsite. Working knowledge of web client technologies such as HTML, CSS and Javascript Valid driver's license. SPECIAL REQUIREMENT A background investigation including fingerprinting is required as a condition of employment. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION Advanced level of knowledge C# and ASP.NET EXPERIENCE Three years experience developing and implementing business application systems Two years Interwoven content management system experience Experience in all phases of project management Experience with the following software desired; XML, MS Visual Studio, XSLT, CSS, HTML and Javascript Experience with MS SQL server, stored procedures, triggers, views and database design CERTIFICATION(S) Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) preferred Excellent salary and benefits package.
