The Assistant Vice President for Undergraduate Studies and International Education provides leadership to the Academic Affairs division in the areas of curriculum, general education, and student appeals, supervises the Office of the Registrar, the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL), and the Center for Community-Based Learning and Civic Engagement, serves as Administrative Dean for both the First-Year Experience Seminar and the Learning Communities programs, serves as administrative liaison for the Student Relations Coordinators, and serves as an administrative member of the Academic Advising Work group. The Assistant Vice President for Undergraduate Studies and International Education also supervises and oversees both the International Programs/Study Abroad and the International Student and Scholar Services of the Kearney International Center.

 Minimum Qualifications:
  • Earned doctorate or other terminal degree.
  • Five (5) years of academic leadership experience in higher education; in teaching and academic service.

 Other Considerations:
  • Ability to work in collective bargaining environment and to interact effectively with a variety of on and off-campus constituents.
  • Significant experience in shared governance and shared decision-making.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to supervise, motivate and lead employees.
  • Ability to establish a vision and implement the steps necessary to carry out the vision.
  • Evidence of vision for international programming for academic purpose.
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse working and learning environment.
