HOW TO APPLY FOR A JOB OPENING:
Scroll down to the table of jobs on this page and click on the job title that you are interested in to access the full job description. After reviewing the minimum qualifications for the position, the entire testing schedule for the position, the Hiring Standards and determine that you meet the requirements for the position, click on APPLY to access the application. If this is the first time you are applying on-line for one of our job openings, you will be given step-by-step instructions on how to complete the application process. Included in these instructions will be creating an account, username and password. After creating your first application, the information will be stored in an Internet Career Desktop. It will remain available for you to use to apply for future job openings with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. To print the applications at any point in the process, click on the “Application Status” option on the blue menu bar at the top of the screen, select the “view” option for the application you want to print, then select the print option from your web browser.
