Welcome to the Sanitation Districts of Los Angeles County online application process! Information for First Time Applicants: If this is the first time you are applying using our online job application, you will need to create an account by clicking on the "Create Your Account Here" link. After your account has been established, you can build an application by clicking on the "Build Job Application" link. This application can be saved and used to apply for more than one job opening. Please note that this registration is not an application. You must go back to the "Job Opportunities" page, select the job your are interested in, and again click on "Apply". You will receive an e-mail confirmation after your application has been successfully submitted.
Paper applications will continue to be accepted on a limited basis.
Application Instructions: Please refer to the specific job posting for application instructions. It is important that your application show all the relevant education and experience you possess. Applicants must provide sufficient information in the Work Experience and/or Education sections of the application to determine qualifications. A resume may be attached to supplement the online application; however, it may not be used to substitute for a fully completed online application. Applications may be rejected if incomplete.

Note: As a non-civil service employer independent from the Los Angeles County personnel system, employees may not "transfer" between the two employers. Current employees have the first opportunity to apply for jobs, so most openings available to non-employees are entry-level jobs.
