Duties Summary:
|
| Installs, maintains, overhauls and repairs plant electrical and electronic control devices and equipment; and performs other related duties as required. |

Minimum Qualification Requirements:
|
Training and Experience: Experience and/or training of sufficient scope and quality to competently perform the journey level skills and duties of this position.
License Requirement: Possession of a journey level electrician’s or a journey level industrial electrician’s license; possession of a valid State driver’s license (Type 3).
Knowledge of: The theories of electricity and electronics; practices, tools, equipment, instruments and materials used in electrical and electronic repair; installation, maintenance, testing and repair of electrical and electronic control devices and equipment; hazards and safety practices of the trade.
Ability to: read and interpret blueprints, plans and diagrams of electrical/electronic circuits; installs, maintain and repair electrical and electronic control devices and equipment; use electrical and electronic testing equipment and devices; work with dexterity and safety; follow oral and written instructions; handle weights and loads.
Health and Physical Condition Requirements: Persons seeking appointment to positions in this class must meet the health and physical condition standards deemed necessary and proper for performance of the duties. |
