| Position involves professional engineering work on major public improvement projects such as street and road development, sewerage and drainage projects. Work is at a responsible technical level requiring specialized training or experience in the engineering disciplines such as civil, sanitary, mechanical, or electrical engineering. |

Minimum Qualifications For Admission to Examination:

| Current registration as an Engineer Intern with the Louisiana State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. If Engineer Intern registration is in another state, must obtain Louisiana Registration within six months of employment. |

This is a non-competitive examination. All applicants meeting the requirements will be issued a certificate of employment eligibility. The names of all certificate holders will be forwarded to the director of the department in which any vacancy develops.
