| The existing employment register is insufficient to fill the current vacancies. The purpose of this amendment to the general equipment operator examination announcement is to establish an employment register used only for filling Equipment Operator IV positions whose main duty is to operate a T.V. Inspection Truck. |

Kind of Work:

| Operates a TV Inspection Truck used in maintenance and repair of sewer lines. Must be capable of operating the equipment independently. |

Minimum Qualifications For Admission to Examination:
|
A current Class A (CDL) Louisiana driver's license and an acceptable driving record; plus,
Verifiable, satisfactory experience operating a TV Inspection Truck; OR certification by an appointing authority that applicant has been adequately trained to operate such; OR possession of an operator's license issued by an appropriate authorized agency of a governmental body.
NOTE: A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) from a state other than Louisiana is acceptable; however, once an offer of employment is made, applicants have ten (10) days to acquire the appropriate Louisiana CDL. |
