An internship with the City of Irvine will provide students with an opportunity to gain experience working in an office environment and learn about municipal government functions by performing a variety of administrative support tasks related to the program area.
Shifts may include evening, weekend, and/or holiday hours. Work hours are negotiated between the intern and City but are generally flexible with the student’s schedule.
The City of Irvine cannot guarantee placement in an internship. Candidates will be contacted when an opportunity becomes available. A background check will be required for prior to placement.
