The position is located on the Island of Maui. | Duties Summary: | |
| Knowledge: Must be familiar with State and Federal burial and historic preservation laws, rules and regulations; must be able to interpret and apply laws and regulations; must have knowledge of archaeological field standards and the ability to independently identify adherence to these standards. | |
| Minimum Qualification Requirements: | |
| Education Requirement: Graduate degree in archaeology or anthropology from a accredited university or college.
Experience Requirement: Three (3) years of work experience in Pacific archaeology reviewing various archaeological reports for compliance with State and Federal laws and/or conducting archaeological field work. Supervisory experience is preferred. Citizenship Requirement: Applicants must be citizens, permanent resident aliens, or nationals of the United States. Non-citizens with unrestricted employment authorization from the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service may also apply. |
