Apply online by selecting a position of interest and clicking on "Apply". If you are interested in Seasonal Employment please click on the "Seasonal Positions" link on the left side of the page.
Create an account by selecting a Username and Password. Once your account has been established, you can build an application by clicking on the "Build Job Application" link. This application can be saved and used to apply for more than one job opening. Returning Users Login with your existing username and password by selecting "Applicant Login" on the left. If you have forgotten your username and/or password, please contact NEOGOV customer care at 888-636-4681. The City of Harrisonburg does not retain your password information. Online applications are stored on a secure site. Only authorized employees and hiring authorities have access to the information submitted. It is important that your application show all the relevant education and experience you possess. Applications may be rejected if incomplete. (Note: an attached resume is not a substitute for the required information on the application.) If you do not see a position of interest, you may submit a 'Job Interest Card' by clicking "Notify Me for Future Jobs" on the left menu and completing the necessary information.
