Welcome to the Escambia County Sheriff's Office online application process! To be eligible for employment with the Escambia County Sheriff's Office, an applicant will not currently use or have used tobacco products within the last six months. You may now apply online by clicking on the job title you are interested in and clicking on the "Apply" link! If this is the first time you are applying using our online job application, you will need to create an account by selecting a Username and Password. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU RETAIN THIS INFORMATION; YOU WILL NEED IT EACH TIME YOU LOG IN. You will also need an email address to set up your account. If you do not already have an email address there are many "free" sites, including hotmail.com and yahoo.com to get email. Each user account must have a separate email address. Please be advised that applications submitted for posted vacancies are valid for six (6) months and that all communication with you will be via email. After your account has been established, you can build an application by clicking on the "Build Job Application" link located in your account. This application can be saved and used to apply for more than one job opening.
Online applications are stored on a secure site. Only authorized employees and hiring authorities have access to the information submitted.
The education and work experience sections of the application must be completed with current verifiable employer contact information and complete dates of employment for the past (10) ten years. Failure to do so will result in an "incomplete application" status, which will prohibit consideration.
If you later update your application with additional work experience, education, certifications, etc. and you wish the new information to be considered, you must re-apply to those positions applied for originally.
The Escambia County Sheriff's Office is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
