Candidate must be at least 15 years of age by time of hire. Licenses and Certificates: American Red Cross (ARC) First Aid, CPR, ARC AED for the Professional Rescuer by time of hire. Gus and Goldie Swim Instructor certification with three (3) months of hire. Physical Requirements: Mobility within a swimming pool environment. |

General Purpose:
|
Under general supervision, instruct participants in the Gus and Goldie Learn to Swim Program. |
|
Typical Duties:
|
- Teach Learn to Swim participants, while following Gus and Goldie Learn to Swim curriculum.
- Evaluate assigned students on their progress (i.e., Progress Reports)
- Attend end of session meeting and in-service training, as scheduled.
- Maintain professional and positive teaching setting and style.
- Respond to any questions related to the progress of individual student made by aquatics supervision or guardians.
