LAS VEGAS JUSTICE COURT DISTRICT COURT This examination will establish a list to fill current and/or future part-time vacancies for LAS VEGAS JUSTICE COURT AND DISTRICT COURT: SERIOUS OFFENDER PROGRAM. Part-time employment will not lead to permanent employment. Part-time hourly employees are used to fill positions normally less than twenty (20) hours per week. Part-time employees do not receive benefits.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services related field; AND Licensed and/or Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (C.A.D.A.C.) by the State of Nevada Board of Examiners for Alcohol, Drug and Gaming Counselor’s. Preferred Qualifications: Preference may be given to candidates with a Criminal Justice degree and/or experience in case management and substance abuse evaluations. Licensing and Certification: Must have and maintain a License and/or Certification as an Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor by the State of Nevada Board of Examiners for Alcohol, Drug and Gaming Counselor’s. Working Conditions: This position will be required to work evenings and some weekends. Background Investigation: Employment is contingent upon the results of a background investigation.
