The department of Juvenile Justice Services is currently accepting applications for a part-time cook.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Spring Mountain Youth Camp (SMYC) is a residential facility located at Angel Peak at Mt. Charleston, approximately 45 miles outside the Las Vegas area. Individuals must provide reliable transportation year round particularly during the winter months due to the inclement weather conditions. Requires graduation from high school or GED and two (2) years of experience in large-scale institutional food preparation and volume cooking. Work days, evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts. Must possess a valid Nevada Class C driver’s license and a current Clark County Health Card. Employment is contingent upon the results of a background investigation. The minimum age requirement for applicants is 21 years of age.
