|
| Integrated Waste Operations Manager is accountable for directing and controlling the work of integrated waste collection crews in the Integrated Waste Division of the Public Services department. The position requires strong management competencies to ensure collection routes are carried out efficiently with a high level of customer service. The incumbent is accountable for implementing division plans and ensuring collection operations achieve stated division objectives. |

Examples of Duties:
|
| Under direction, schedules and manages the day-to-day operations of residential and commercial collection crews working in integrated waste collection and disposal; coordinates assigned activities with other divisions, outside agencies and the general public; and performs related duties as assigned. |

Licenses,Certificates, Special Requirements: A valid California Driver's License and the ability to maintain insurability under the City's vehicle insurance policy. Education/Experience: Graduation from a four-year college or university with a major in business management, public administration or a closely related field; and four (4) years of responsible municipal government management experience, at least two (2) years of which were in the integrated waste management function; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. |
