Hiring Salary $10.52 hourly; 2 to 15 hours per week. Position reopened 10-21-09. The Aquatics Recreation Aide will provide support for aquatic classes. Primarily and most frequently the work done here is under direct supervision, within one functional area, and of a routine nature.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Performs routine human support in an aquatics environment; will assist instructors with swim lessons at Charlottesville Aquatic facilities.  Position requires ability to work on Saturdays. Assists in the cleaning and maintenance of a swimming pool, bath house and surrounding area; Performs related tasks as required.
Education, Experience and Skills:
Applicants must be at least 14 years of age. Final applicants will undergo a criminal background check. Experience: Position requires the ability to work in an aquatics environment. Skills: Must have excellent customer service skills; and ability to work well with others.
