Refereeing or umpiring youth or adult games

Enforce game rules and regulations during play

Help take down and set up equipment for games

Attend training sessions as scheduled

Attend game assignments as least 10 minutes prior to scheduled game time

Assist with crowd control if necessary

Carries out job duties in a safe manner in accordance with all Town, department and regulatory policies; follows safety procedures.  Identifies unsafe situations and work hazards, corrects them if possible, and reports them to their supervisor.

Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge of:

Sport officiating

High school federation and league rules

Mechanics and position

Ability to:

Read, write and communicate at a level commonly associated with the completion of high school or equivalent.

An equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the job.

Must be 18 years of age by the time of employment.

Requires ability to perform duties at various job sites.
