| Boulder County Financial Services Division has an opening for a Capital Asset Accountant (Accountant I). |
|
Examples of Duties:
|
| Duties will include: maintaining the subsidiary ledger for capital assets (includes maintaining the functioning of the capital assets software, performing monthly and annual reconciliations between the subsidiary ledger and the general ledger, data entry); preparing capital asset and lease schedules and footnote disclosures for the financial statement; providing assistance with implementing upgrades of the capital assets software; administering the annual inventory of physical assets, and performing other projects and related duties as required. |

Required Qualifications:
|
| Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field and a minimum of one year of professional accounting experience. Knowledge of professional accounting principles and procedures is required. Must be proficient with Excel (a proficiency test will be administered). Experience with IFAS financial software and real estate transactions are highly preferred. |
