| Salary is negotiable based on experience. The purpose of this job is to provide wastewater treatment functions to ensure EPA and EPD requirements and standards are achieved in wastewater treatment. |

Examples Of Essential Duties:
|
| Duties include, but are not limited to the planning and scheduling of designated wastewater plant processes, such as, calibration of plant equipment, filter cleaning; monitoring employee operation of equipment to ensure efficient operation; directing and evaluating assigned staff; preparing various types of reports in performance of duties; etc. |

Typical Qualifications:
|
| High school diploma or GED and four (4) years experience as a wastewater plant operator. Applicants must have a valid State of Georgia Class I Wastewater Treatment Operator License or eligibility to transfer registration from other states is required. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license at the time of application. A valid Georgia driver’s license is required at the time of appointment. Certificate and license must remain valid during tenure in this classification. Equivalent combinations of training and experience will be determined under prescribed guidelines. |
