This position provides management support to the Collection Division within the
 Office of Wastewater Treatment and Collection.

Duties includes managing and planning the daily operations of all maintenance groups to ensure effective service levels for all wastewater collection customers; representing the collection division with various groups to define and resolve complaints; compiling data and generating various management and regulatory reports related to environmental issues with the City's wastewater collection system; supervising, directing and evaluating assigned staff, handling employee concerns, counseling and completing employee performance appraisals; etc.

Bachelor's degree in Public or Business Administration, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in wastewater collection or wastewater treatment management/budget management.  Equivalent combinations of training and experience will be determined under prescribed guidelines.  Applicants for this position must have a valid driver's license at time of application.  A valid Georgia driver's license is required at the time of appointment.  License must remain valid while in this classification.

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION Possession of a valid Georgia Wastewater Collection System License, or obtain a valid license within 2 years of appointment. Also, possession of a valid Georgia driver’s license verifiable at the time of appointment. License must remain valid while in this classification.
